See the home page "Client list" for descriptions of demanding, high-profile messaging applications running on eAlert.

End user experience

eAlert is carefully crafted to be as powerful, useful and convenient for those receiving messages as for those sending them. For example, built-in list segmentation allows subscribers to specify exactly what content they wish to receive and they days and hours they want monitored. Subscribers also can easily subscribe, unsubscribe or change their content preferences at any time. Powerful multi-platform support allows subscribers to specify on what devices and in what format they wish to receive their notifications – text to phone, text to e-mail, fax, voice to phone, SMS to phone or PDA, etc. Subscribers can also specify the device/format priority. For instance, a user could specify that eAlert first make a voice call to his phone and, if there’s no answer, then text his cell phone and, if that also fails, send an e-mail to his office e-mail account. eAlert’s multilingual support enables automatic translation into eight languages including simplified Chinese. eAlert protects subscribers from abusive or extraneous messages by subscriber screening, list validation, spam blocking, and double opt-in.

Administration and reporting

eAlert features administration and reporting tools to manage bounces, manually subscribe/unsubscribe users, block spam and other attempted list abuse by "blacklisting," log sent messages, report list membership totals, and more.

Branding

Use your company’s look and feel on your eAlert signup and help pages. Capture the tone and personalities of your organization in prerecorded messages, to reinforce branding and loyalty.
